Forward Deployed Engineer

Build and ship the product and platform that power BitOoda's market infrastructure for the intelligence economy. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you work close to the problem — partnering with our markets, advisory, and research teams to turn real institutional needs into production systems, and weaving AI and LLM-driven tooling through the stack. This is a hands-on builder role with broad ownership; we're open to a range of experience levels and care more about what you can build than years on a résumé.

Responsibilities

→Design, build, and ship core product and platform features across the stack — from data pipelines and APIs to the interfaces traders and counterparties actually use.
→Build AI-native tooling: integrate LLMs and agents into workflows, automate manual processes, and turn market and research data into usable intelligence.
→Embed with our markets, advisory, and research teams to scope real problems and translate them into reliable, well-instrumented systems.
→Own features end-to-end — prototype quickly, harden for production, and stay accountable for performance, correctness, and reliability.
→Help shape engineering practices, architecture, and tooling as the platform scales.

Qualifications

→Strong, hands-on software engineer who can own systems end-to-end; comfortable across the full stack and quick to pick up unfamiliar areas.
→Experience building and deploying AI/LLM-powered features — prompt design, retrieval, agents, or integrating model APIs into real products.
→Pragmatic builder who thrives with ambiguity and ships working software fast without sacrificing quality.
→Clear communicator who can work directly with non-engineering stakeholders to understand needs and deliver.
→Interest in financial markets, trading, or institutional infrastructure is a strong plus.
